15 Dec – "Barbie" is leading another awards following Golden Globes, as it was revealed that it has received 18 nominations at the Critics' Choice Film Awards. The movie, which broke records left and right since it was released in July, has been nominated in all major categories including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress. It has also received nods for Best Young Actress, Best Acting Ensemble, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and many others. Trailing behind with 13 nominations is "Oppenheimer", followed by the Leonardo DiCaprio-starrer, "Killers of the Flower Moon" at 12. Earlier, it was revealed that the movie, which made USD 1.4 billion at the box office, has nabbed nine nominations at the Golden Globes.
