7 Dec – Although the movie was previously scheduled to be released on Diwali 2024, it was revealed that the Akshay Kumar-starrer, "Housefull 5" has been pushed back to 2025. In a statement released by Sajid Nadiadwala, who penned the script, he said, "The Houseful! franchise owes its massive success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Houseful! 5."
"The team has crafted an absolutely mind-blowing story that demands top-notch VFX. Therefore, we've made the decision to push the release to ensure we deliver five times the entertainment with great cinematic experience." The film will now be released on 6 June 2025.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the movie will also star Riteish Deshmukh, though Sajid previously stated that he would like to cast all the actors from previous instalments, like Bobby Deol, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon.
