28 Jun - Scarlett Johansson recently admitted that she was overjoyed by the fact that she is now a part of the "Jurassic World" franchise.

Speaking to Comicbook.com about her involvement in the upcoming reboot of the title, Johansson said that she has always been a fan of the dinosaur-themed film series since the first "Jurassic Park" film.

"I'm an enormous Jurassic Park fan. It's one of the first films I remember seeing in the theater. I remember seeing it so vividly. It was like life-changing. It was mind-blowing. I cannot express how excited I am," she said.

Johansson said that she was "pinching" herself over being part of the upcoming project.

"I've been trying to get into this franchise in any possible way for over 10 years. I'm like, 'I'll die in the first five minutes! I can get eaten by whatever! I'll do the craft service!' I'll do anything for it. The fact that it's happened in this way at this time just is actually unbelievable. I can't believe it," she enthused.

The actress' involvement in the project was first announced in March. It is noted that the movie, to be directed by Gareth Edwards and written by original "Jurassic Park" scribe David Koepp, will also star "Bridgerton" star Jonathan Bailey alongside Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Rupert Friend, Mahershala Ali, Luna Blaise, David Iacono and newcomer Audrina Miranda.
