Dhanush stars in a dual role, playing both a father and a son. The father lives in a village and is a master of a martial art that`s on the verge of extinction, which he wishes to revive by introducing it to the younger generation. Meanwhile the son lives in the city and, unlike his respected father, he is a petty criminal.
