Here are some of the happy winners at Cinema Online's "Gods of Egypt"" contest.

25 Feb – Even though Gerard Butler plays the antagonist in the latest epic film, "Gods of Egypt", he is still one of the main reasons that attracted many movie buffs to join Cinema Online at the movie's special screening.
Cinema Online winners of the "Gods of Egypt" contest got to catch the hunky Scottish actor on the big screen yesterday, a day before the movie's nationwide release on 25 February 2016.

After his iconic performance in "300", one cannot help but make comparisons with his latest film, especially since it is of the similar genre.
It is also undeniable that Butler is one of the many reasons why people would want to watch "Gods of Egypt", despite not being the main hero.
"Of course I want to watch the film because of Gerard Butler, I mean look at his abs!" one of the winners Foo Mei Fong jokingly said. "I think the movie might surpass "300" because the CGI looks awesome in the trailer, I'm really looking forward to it!".

Another winner Khaw Syn Wen admitted that she and her partner Jackie James Underwood, are also attracted to the film because of Butler, but another reason why they would love to watch it is because of their interest in Egyptian history.
"I love ancient Egyptian films, something like "The Mummy" or "Exodus". I love these kinds of films a lot," said Jackie enthusiastically.

Meanwhile, Daniel Lee Tek Aun voiced out his reason to catch the movie, "I want to watch this movie because I've never seen Gerard Butler play the role of a villain before, so it's kind of interesting to see him be the bad guy for once because he mostly plays heroic roles."
"So, I guess that's what excites me!" Lee exclaimed.

Set in an ancient Egyptian Era, "Gods of Egypt" follows a mortal hero named Bek who teams up with the God, Horus in an alliance against Set, the God of Darkness, who wants to take over the Egyptian throne.
Directed by Alex Proyas, the film also features Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Brenton Thwaites, Chadwick Boseman, Elodie Yung and Geoffrey Rush.
