9 Dec – Hollywood seductress Angelina Jolie is involved in a legal battle with Josip J. Knezevic, a Crotian journalist who is suing Jolie for stealing his original idea to produce her directorial debut, "In The Land of Blood and Honey". The Oscar winner is not the only one who is being sued for writing the story of her movie as the people behind "Cowboys & Aliens" were being brought into legal action by Austin based writer, Steven John Busti as well, who claims that his work was plagiarized by the crew of the movie starring Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig. "Bosnia has always been a situation and a conflict that I'd never been completely able to understand, so it was also a chance for me to dip deeper and learn and educate myself on the concept," said Jolie. The movie "In The Land of Blood and Honey" is based on the Bosnian War and it tells the love story between a soldier who fights for the Serb and a Bosnian woman who is raped and abused in prison. "In The Land Of Blood And Honey" will see its North American release this 23 December 2011. A regional release date is yet to be confirmed at the time of publication.
