6 June – With the open casting session for Bjarne Wong's "Starts Good Ends Good" slated today for 6.30pm at Movie Carnival 2011, IPC Shopping Centre, aspiring artistes will be glad to know that there will be more upcoming casting sessions held by director Ahmad Idham, James Lee and also other directors from Tayangan Unggul production house for Movie Carnival's 'Casting Studio'.
Held in conjunction with the current Movie Carnival 2011, the 'Casting Studio' will be conducted by famed director Ahmad Idham ("Senjakala" and "Jangan Pandang Belakang") on the weekend of 10 to 12 June, from 1pm to 6pm daily. There will also be another casting session held the following week by James Lee ("Hysteria" and "Petaling Street Warrior") and directors from Tayangan Unggul production house, on the weekend of 17 to 19 of June, with three sessions to be held daily.The three said sessions over the weekend will be from 12pm to 2pm, 3pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm respectively. All participants have to do to for their shot at stardom, which is open to all Malaysians regardless of their age, gender or ancestry, is to register themselves with the provided registration form available on-site and include one profile photo along with a full-shot photo of themselves. Those with no photo at hand can walk on over to the 'Costume Studio' at the Movie Carnival to snap their photos for a nominal fee. Those selected during the 'Casting Studio' sessions, will be contacted for further call-backs for not only featured roles, but even as extras for upcoming movies.
