Chris Hemsworth answers calls in "Ghostbusters"

Chris Hemsworth ready to pick up calls.

11 June – Who you gonna call? Well, according to director Paul Feig, if you're ever in distress due to paranormal forces, Chris Hemsworth is the one to call.

Feig has taken to his Twitter account to announce that the "Thor" actor is now part of the all-female "Ghostbusters" reboot.

Don't worry, Hemsworth won't be stealing any of the leading ladies' thunder, he will instead be of assistance to them in the form of a receptionist, as revealed by Feig's tweet: "Our receptionist. #whoyougonnacall", which was posted along with a photo of the Australian actor.

The 31-year-old will be joining confirmed main cast Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon and Melissa McCarthy, the latter who is currently seen on the big screen starring in Paul Feig's espionage spoof "Spy" – which according to Box Office Mojo, has made USD88.6 worldwide in less than four weeks.

The first "Ghostbusters" movie was released in 1984. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson starred in the American supernatural comedy, also returning for 1989 sequel "Ghostbusters II".

Other than the upcoming "Ghostbusters", Hemsworth will be seen next in "Vacation", "In the Heart of the Sea" and "The Hunstman", as well as reprising his role as Thor in "Thor: Ragnarok" and in either one or both parts of "Avengers: Infinity War".
