19 Oct – Not long after "A Quiet Place" opened in cinemas worldwide last April, a sequel was already greenlit for it. However, back then it was not confirmed whether director John Krasinski, who also wrote and starred in the movie, would return for the follow-up. Now The Hollywood Reporter brought news that Krasinski is back on board, at least in a writing capacity. When Paramount Pictures' chairman and CEO Jim Gianopulos previously announced the sequel, Krasinski did not expect to be involved as he had intended the first movie to be a "special experience" shared together with his wife, actress Emily Blunt, who starred opposite him as his onscreen wife.
