7 May – With "Avengers: Endgame" breaking records at the international level, there's no surprise that it's also setting some impressive records right here in Malaysia within just two weeks of screening. It has officially become the first ever movie to cross the RM70 million mark at the local box office, Walt Disney Malaysia tells Cinema Online. This means that it has beaten "Avengers: Infinity War" to become the highest-grossing movie in the country. It also takes away another record from "Avengers: Infinity War", which is setting the #1 biggest opening day of all time for Malaysia. Aside from that, "Avengers: Endgame" now also holds the record for the biggest opening weekend of all-time in Malaysia at RM41.6 million. It took the superhero movie only 5 days to breach the RM40 million mark, making it the fastest movie to do so at the local box office. Its biggest single day box office sales were RM10 million, achieved on the Saturday of its opening weekend.
