6 Sep – It was reported that Shah Rukh Khan is indeed working with the rising Tamil filmmaker Atlee on a new movie. The Bollywood star was revealed to have started shooting Atlee's new movie in Pune, and will be in the area for ten days for the shoot before moving location to Mumbai. While no details have been released about the project, it was revealed that it has a "lavish budget" and will be made on "a grand scale", according to Times of India. The film also reportedly stars South Indian actress Nayanthara as well as Rana Daggubati - the latter in an antagonistic role.
It is noted that Shah Rukh first met Atlee at the cricket league, IPL, where the two spoke about a collaboration. The actor reportedly has been keen on working with the said director, known for hits like "Theri", "Mersal", and "Bigil". Shah Rukh will later start his new Rajkumar Hirani's new movie following the film's wrap up.
