26 Nov – Following a report issued by the Bombay High Court on Aryan Khan's bail order stating there was almost no positive evidence to show the accused guilty in a drug abuse case, actor Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly set to take legal action against the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for the alleged mistake. According to Bollywood Hungama, the Bollywood superstar has been advised by his team of lawyers to sue NCB Director Sameer Wankhede, the person who was leading the drug case to the point of the Bureau accusing Aryan Khan without any solid evidence. A source close to the Khan family alleged, "Shah Rukh is being strongly advised retaliatory legal action against those who put Aryan behind bars. So yes, there is likely to be some unforeseen developments in the case."
Following the arrests made by the NCB, Shah Rukh Khan's eldest son was detained at Arthur Road Prison for more than three weeks. It is noted that the 28 October bail order stated, "There is hardly any positive evidence on record to convince this Court that all the accused persons with common intention agreed to commit unlawful act... Merely because Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha were traveling in the same cruise, that by itself cannot be a foundation for the charge of conspiracy against them."
