9 Jan – Despite getting a 94 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it was revealed that the Michelle Yeoh-starrer, "American Born Chinese" has now been cancelled on Disney+ after only one season.

Sources claimed that while Disney was happy with the positive reception from critics and watchers alike, the series did not attract viewership that is large enough to justify the studio to fork out more money for a second season.

However, the show can still be saved if it can find another platform to stream or air it.
