9 Sep - "Takluk: Lahad Datu" continues its dominance at the box office as it surpasses the RM20 million mark.

The news was shared by Astro Shaw on 9 September, writing, "Praise be to God. Takluk: Lahad Datu managed to reach RM 20 million! Thank you to the people of Malaysia for your strong support for this film."

"For those who haven't seen it yet, don't forget to get your tickets now!" it added.

The film, based on the true story of the 2013 Lahad Datu incursion, was released on 22 August to much commercial success.

Written by Zulkarnain Azhar and Peter Toyat, the film stars Eman Manan, Syafiq Kyle, Kamal Adli, Fikry Ibrahim, Anding Indrawani Zaini, and Josiah Hogan among others.
