23 Nov – Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie shocked fans when she revealed that she plans to quit acting, saying "I've never been comfortable as an actor." The Oscar winner said so during an interview with DuJour magazine but later clarified to Entertainment Weekly that while she has plans to end her career as an actress, she still has "a few more" in her and will do those before calling it quits. Jolie is thinking of quitting acting in order to concentrate more on directing. She made her directorial debut in 2011 with her award-winning movie, "In the Land of Blood and Honey".
She has since directed two more movies, "Unbroken" starring Jack O'Connell, and "By the Sea" starring herself and real-life husband, Brad Pitt. This will mark their second time acting together after 2005's "Mr. and Mrs. Smith". The 39-year-old mother of six starred in the wildly successful "Maleficent" in the titular role this year, with one of her daughters even making an appearance in the movie with her. Next year, Jolie will appear in two movies. One in her very own "By the Sea", which is still undated, and another in "Kung Fu Panda 3" as the voice of Tigress, set for release in North America on 23 December 2015. (Main photo source: melty.fr)
