29 Aug – Looks like Malaysians will not be able to watch the long-awaited sequel to "Sin City" in the cinemas. Planned for release on 16 October 2014, the local distributor for the movie has recently decided to drop the movie from their upcoming movie lineup. Moviegoers have been anticipating the sequel to 2005 neo-noir thriller "Sin City". Unfortunately, now the movie might not be hitting the local cinemas after all. "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" tells the story of a guy called by his lover to help her escape her abusive husband. The sequel features the return of Mickey Rourke, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King and Jessica Alba in their previous roles. It also has Joseph Gordon-Levitt joining in as Johnny, while Jamie Chung and Dennis Haysbert replace Devon Aoki and the late Michael Clarke Duncan. Adapted from comic books, the "Sin City" series boast visually stylized shots, part of the reason why the films are highly anticipated by all. The distributor has yet to release an official statement regarding the sudden cancellation of bringing the movie into Malaysia.
