3 May – The only daughter of the late Michael Jackson is all grown up and is set to make her silver screen debut in the yet-to-be-titled Amazon Studios film, directed by Nash Edgerton. As per Deadline, not much is known yet about Paris' role in the film, other than the fact that her character is named Nelly and is, so far, described only as "an edgy 20-year-old". Paris' first time acting on screen was in an episode of the TV series "Star" as the one-time character, Rachel Wells, earlier this year. Meanwhile, Edgerton made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed 2008 "The Square". His latest film, which Paris will appear in, will be a dark comedy about a business man, Harold Soyinka, played by David Oyelowo, who gets himself tangled in illegal affairs and ends up crossing the line between citizen and criminal. Other actors set to appear in the film include Amanda Seyfried, Charlize Theron, Yul Vazquez, Thandie Newton, Sharlto Copley and Edgerton's brother, Joel. The film is written by Anthony Tambakis and Matt Stone. An official title and release date have yet to be announced. (Photo source: Paris Jackson's Instagram)
