"Avatar 3" announces its official title


"Avatar 3" is "Fire and Ash"
12 Aug - The highly-anticipated third instalment of "Avatar" has now an official title - "Fire and Ash".

The news was announced by director James Cameron at the D23 Convention, where Disney announced all of its upcoming projects and releases.

"There are new cultures and settings and creatures, and new biomes. You will see a lot more of Pandora, the planet, that you've never seen before," said Cameron. "The new film is not what you expect, but it's definitely what you want."

"The Way of Water" made USD 2.32 billion at the box office
The film will resume the adventure of Jack Sulley (Sam Worthington) and his family in Pandora as they face more challenges ahead.

The second film was titled "The Way of Water", and became the third highest grossing film of all time after earning USD 2.32 billion at the box office. The first movie still reigns as the highest grossing film of all time.

"Avatar: Fire and Ash" is set to be released in December 2025, while movie four and five will be released in 2029 and 2031, respectively.
