22 Mar - Warner Bros. recently unveiled two images from the upcoming anticipated sequel, "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice".

In the first photo, Michael Keaton, who is back to play the iconic character he first played in 1988, is seen back in his classic jail-striped suit, frizzy hair and white face paint, grinning at someone out of camera shot.

Meanwhile, the second image features the Deetz, with Catherine O'Hara and Winona Ryder returning as Delia and Lydia Deetz, while accompanied by Jenna Ortega, who plays the character Astrid and Justin Theroux as Rory at what looked like a funeral.

It was back in December that Tim Burton announced that he has wrapped up on filming the sequel to his hit 1988 movie, with the release date revealed to be 6 September 2024.

The synopsis read, "After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia's life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it's only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice's name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem."
