Set in the 1960s, the films tells the story of Miklós Fenyö (aka Miki) who has returned to his homeland, Budapest, with his family after four years of living in the United States of America. Miki is obsessed with rock n` roll dreams of being the Jerry Lee Lewis of Hungary. Yet, there are complications he and his family encounter upon reaching his homeland. He and his father are seen as outcast and his former girlfriend tells him she has a new love. Undaunted, Miki enters a talent contest to restore his father`s reputation, regain the respect of his friends and win back the love of his life.

Filem yang ditetapkan pada tahun 1960 ini mengisahkan tentang Miklos Fenyo atau dikenali sebagai Miki yang kembali ke kampung halaman, Budapaest, bersama keluarganya selepas empat tahun tinggal di Amerika Syarikat. Miki seorang yang sangat obses dengan muzik 'rock n roll' itu mempunyai impian untuk menjadi Jerry Lee Lewis Hungary. Namun berdepan dengan masalah apabila sampai di tanah airnya dia dan bapanya dilihat sebagai orang buangan dan bekas teman wanita juga memberitahu yang dia sudah ada orang lain. Tabah dengan segala yang berlaku, Miki masuk pertandingan mencari bakat untuk mengembali maruah bapanya serta mendapatkan penghormatan daripada rakan-rakan beliau dan memenangi kembali cinta dalam hidupnya.
