For someone who started out as just an ordinary Canadian kid, Justin Bieber is now a global superstar thanks to the discovery of Bieber's videos on YouTube that first got him noticed for his singing talent at the tender age of 13. This documentary feature follows rising star Bieber from the start till his current popularity in his big screen debut with a slew of guest artistes that include Jaden Smith, Miley Cyrus, Chris Brown, Usher, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Boys II Men, Sean Kingston and Kanye West, which made the film a more interesting watch.

Admittedly, the idea to make the film in 3D might seem like an easy way to milk the cash cow (consisting mainly of Bieber fans who will pay anything to watch their idol on the big screen), however by the end, the obvious doesn't seem to matter as it'll makes audiences feel as if they're actually at a Bieber concert. Directed by Jon Chu of the "Step Up" series, the film is made as not only a musical or a biopic, but as a story of an underdog who rose to fame in the digital age and emerged an icon.

The flow of 3D feature was nicely spliced together, from personal homemade videos to the countdown that leads up to Bieber's first show at Madison Square Garden, it served as an insightful journey of Bieber's current success. It also consists of interviews with people that know Bieber personally, the struggles the child superstar faces with puberty and his changing vocal chords.

As the main event finally approaches, Bieber's concert at Madison Square Garden rocks the stadium in a way that only those watching in the cinemas can understand. The film was pretty heart-warming and impressive no matter what audiences think of Bieber's music, Beliebers or not.
